The studio
A small studio in Surakarta.
We build the thing, draw the thing, and sell the thing. Usually in that order, sometimes all at once.
WhatTheFun is an independent studio in Surakarta, Central Java. We take on websites and apps, brand and design, campaigns and content. The studio is split into three departments, Code, Art and Business, and most projects use all three.
We stay small on purpose. The person who answers your message sits in the room where the work happens, and the people who draw the thing sit next to the people who build it.
So far that has meant work for a railway directorate, a university, a travel booking service, a muaythai camp, and a handful of Indonesian brands.
